Where business and science meet

Companies with headquarters in the Aerospace Technology Centre in Wildau are located right in the middle of Germany’s densest university and research network. More than 200 state-run and privately owned research institutes in Berlin-Brandenburg – including renowned institutes such as the Helmholtz Association, the Leibniz Association, the Fraunhofer Society and the Max Planck Society – provide outstanding prerequisites for cooperative ventures and innovative developments. More than 52 universities and higher education institutions, with around 200,000 students, qualify junior talent in almost all disciplines.

The Wildau Technical University of Applied Sciences, qualifying more than 4,000 students in about 30 different courses, including ones in aeronautical engineering and aviation logistics, mechanical engineering and business administration, is practically in front of our door. The Technical University of Berlin and the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, where jet turbine technology is a key area, are also located within easy reach. The Free University of Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin should not be forgotten either, along with the University of Potsdam, with equally renowned departments for natural sciences. This is where hi-tech companies will find the highly qualified specialists they are looking for.
