German Aerospace Day Berlin-Brandenburg

More than 100 industry representatives from the capital region – including companies from the aerospace industry, cooperation partners with other sectors, universities, colleges, research institutes, associations, chambers, politicians and Berlin and Brandenburg’s public sector institutions – have been coming to the “German Aerospace Day” since 2004. The event focuses on strategy development, the presentation of innovative projects and building networks between business, science and politics. Other objectives being pursued are the pooling of the potential offered by the participating companies and scientific institutes in the region, and the communication of innovative ideas and economic growth impulses emerging from the industry in order to cement them in the public’s awareness. A highlight of the day is the ceremony for the Lilienthal Prize, which is awarded every two years for innovative and market-based aerospace achievements.
